E. Donald Reilly, Jr.
Don Reilly is a consultant and executive with 45 years’ experience in finance, accounting, and operations, involving over 100 operating units and companies in ten countries in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Don has managed numerous operating units and companies through mergers, acquisitions, post-transaction integration, as well as workouts, turnarounds, foreclosure, and bankruptcy. He has designed and implemented internal control systems for growing companies, designed and implemented financial and operational reporting systems, including development of appropriate key performance indicators. He has assisted companies in the preparation, tracking, and updating of strategic plans. In addition to performing financial and operational audits, he has assisted clients in preparing for their external audits.
Don has demonstrated an ability to diagnose problems and to design and implement workable solutions.
Don’s experience includes stints at the then Big Eight public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand, Marriott, Wyndham, the Gencom Group, and numerous owners and operators in commercial real estate.
Don’s clients have included Wall Street investment banks, pension funds, a major university hospitality program, and numerous real estate owners and investors.
Don has a B.S. in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University, and a CPA (Maryland) . He is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and the Florida Institute of CPA’s.
Don has served in public office in elected and appointed positions, including the planning and zoning commission, the school board, and the city council and served on the Community Emergency Response Team.
